The International Conference of Asian Environmental Chemistry (ICAEC) 2014 was held in Bangkok on November 24-26. Prof. H. Okochi and 11 students from his group attended, and 6 students received the ‘Outstanding Student Research Award’. Okochi said, “We have tended not to have been judged in this way at domestic meetings, so such awards allow us to better promote our Mt. Fuji studies to an international audience”
